Ghada Young is the Founder, President, and CEO of Sharpnet Corporation. Ms. Young has over 16 years of IT experience in a broad range of industires both in the government and private sectors. Her areas of knowledge includes development of information systems, business process reengineering, training, software development, testing and systems implementation in global environments. She has worked for a broad range of Fortune 500 firms including ExxonMobil, Marriott International, PRC, Sallie Mae, Winstar and the World Bank. She has developed particular expertise in IT project management in global business environments and is known for a unique synergy of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
Ms. Young earned a BS degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland. She has completed masters level course work in Computer Management at Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Young is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.
Lina Kassis - Executive Vice President
Lina Kassis is Executive Vice President of Sharpnet Corporation. Ms. Kassis has over 10 years of IT experience with a particular focus on applications development and testing in global business environments. Her areas of knowledge include project management, requirement gathering and end-user training. She has particular expertise in integrating IT systems solutions with strong communication and personnel management skills.
Ms. Kassis earned a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland University College in addition to a BS degree in Apparel Design from the University of Maryland. She speaks fluent English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.
Soraya Assaf - Director of Marketing and Business Development
Soraya Assaf is the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Sharpnet Corporation. Ms. Assaf is a results oriented marketing professional with 15 years of experience in market based sales communications programs and strategic business development. She has worked in a number of service industries including education, non-profit and health care management. She has particular expertise in brand management and strategic planning. In addition to her marketing expertise, Ms. Assaf has experience in adult training programs and international IT personnel recruitment. Prior to her work with Sharpnet, Ms. Assaf managed the branding and marketing functions of a for-profit line of service for the American Red Cross.
Ms. Assaf earned a Master of Business Administration from John Hopkins University and a BS in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College. She was past president of the Washington, D.C. chapter of the American Marketing Association and is conversant in Arabic.
